Ginny is a registered clinical counsellor who has completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) with an undergraduate degree in psychology and criminology. She has experience working in hospitals, private practice clinics, youth homeless shelters, and high schools, serving clients ranging in age from young teen to late adulthood. She has experience in individual as well as group counselling and has facilitated group programs for both teens in a community centre setting, as well as online and in person for a variety of ages.

Her practice draws from many different modalities, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and SFT, with an emphasis on helping clients find effective mechanisms for managing life’s challenges. She has experience and training in treating many mood and personality disorders as well as helping people manage stress, anxiety, depression, and grief. Her goal as a therapist is to offer a safe therapeutic space where clients feel heard in a non-judgmental, empathetic environment.

In her spare time, Ginny enjoys reading, gardening, and cuddling her fur baby dog, Maxie. Her favourite local get away is Whistler, where she likes to walk and ebike through the trails.
